About Me

I have always been interested in design, especially art. However, it wasn't until I began high school that I learned just how interested in architecture I was! My grandmother told me that her father, George Rustay was an architect who worked with Joseph Finger to design some of Houston's iconic architecture. From that point, I began taking architecture classes at The Woodlands High school and competed with SkillsUSA, winning 1st place in the team entry at the 2018 AIA Michael G Meyers Competition. This experience working in a team with peers who enjoyed architecture as much as I did propelled me into my college career at the University of Houston. I am currently in my 5th Year in the Architecture program and I am very excited to see where my future leads!
